Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 25 October 2026
1. Scope and provider
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of Zombike (the web application at zombike.app and related apps) and to all contracts between Zackplan GmbH, Lessinggasse 23/6, 1020 Vienna, Austria, commercial register no. FN 561867 a, VAT ID ATU77459634, email hello@zombike.app (“we”) and the users (“you”). Different terms of yours do not apply, even if we do not expressly object to them.
2. Description of the service
Zombike is an application for indoor cycling training with smart trainers and sensors connected over Bluetooth. It includes, among other things, workouts and training plans, a 3D ride, story modes, leaderboards, activity overviews and a garage for customising bike and rider. The story modes are calculated on our servers and need an internet connection. We keep developing Zombike and may change, add or remove features as far as this is reasonable for you and does not endanger the purpose of the contract.
Zombike is not a medical device. It replaces neither training advice nor medical advice.
3. Account and registration
- You need an account to use Zombike. Sign-in is passwordless with a code that we send to your email address. You must be of legal age or have the consent of your legal guardians.
- You provide an address you have access to, keep your details up to date and protect access to your mailbox. An account is not transferable and must not be used by several people.
- By signing in you accept these Terms. The time of your consent is stored.
- You can have your account deleted at any time (email to hello@zombike.app). Paid periods that have already begun are not refunded pro rata, unless we are obliged to terminate (see section 8).
4. Free trial
- When you take out a subscription you receive a free trial of 7 days. If you come through the invite link of another user, it lasts 14 days. The trial is available once per person.
- For the trial you provide a payment method with our payment provider Stripe. Nothing is charged during the trial. You can cancel at any time before it ends (in your profile under “Manage payment & subscription”); then no costs arise.
- If you do not cancel, the trial turns into the chosen paid subscription automatically when it ends (monthly plan €7.99 or yearly plan €59, at the offer prices stated there while an offer runs) and your payment method is charged. Before you sign up we show you the price, the end of the trial and the automatic renewal clearly. Without a subscription or trial the story modes and workouts cannot be used.
- The scope of the free and the paid use may change. We will tell you in good time if something essential changes for you.
5. Prices, payment and subscription
- There is a monthly plan at the regular price of €7.99 and a yearly plan at €59. Under the Halloween Special Price, if you take out the subscription up to and including 31 October 2026, you pay €3.99 per month for the first 3 months on the monthly plan and €39 for the first year on the yearly plan. After that the regular price applies (€7.99 per month or €59 per year) without you having to do anything. We may end the offer for the future at any time afterwards. All prices are in euro and include statutory value added tax.
- Payment is made in advance through our payment provider Stripe with the payment methods offered there. We do not receive card data.
- The subscription starts when you sign up and renews automatically for the chosen period (one month or one year) as long as you do not cancel.
- You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid period, through the customer portal in your account or by email to hello@zombike.app. You keep access until the end of the period. Amounts already paid are not refunded pro rata.
- We announce price changes at least 30 days before the end of the current period. If you do not agree, you can cancel until then. Without a cancellation the new price applies from the next period.
- If a payment fails we may block access until payment succeeds.
6. Friends offer
- Every user receives a personal invite link. If a person who newly registered through this link takes out a paid subscription, the inviting person receives a free month, credited to their own subscription. This applies to at most three invited people, so at most three free months.
- The bonus only applies to active, paid subscriptions: the free month arises as soon as the first payment of the invited person has reached us, and only once per invited person. You can redeem it only if you have an active, paid subscription yourself, and only by an express redemption in your account. It is then credited to your next invoice as a credit of one month of your subscription (for the yearly plan one twelfth of the yearly price). If the invited person ends their subscription before you redeem the bonus, it can no longer be redeemed; months already redeemed remain. If the payment is charged back or refunded, the bonus may lapse. It is not paid out and not transferable.
- Not permitted are invitations to yourself, several accounts of one person, automated or deceptive invitations and spam. In case of abuse we may withdraw free months and block the accounts concerned.
- We may change or end the offer for the future at any time. Free months already earned remain.
7. Your right of withdrawal as a consumer
- If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded.
- To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform us (Zackplan GmbH, Lessinggasse 23/6, 1020 Vienna, email hello@zombike.app) of your decision by a clear statement, for example by email. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient that you send the notice before the period expires.
- If you withdraw, we will refund all payments without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same means of payment you used for the payment.
- If you asked for the service to begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an appropriate amount for what has been provided until you withdrew (pro rata to the full price).
- For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal lapses once we have begun performance after you expressly agreed that we begin before the withdrawal period ends and you confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. We ask for this consent before payment with a separate checkbox and store the time.
Model withdrawal form (if you want to withdraw from the contract, complete and return this form):
To Zackplan GmbH, Lessinggasse 23/6, 1020 Vienna, hello@zombike.app. I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract of sale of the following goods (*) / for the provision of the following service (*): Zombike subscription. Ordered on (*) / received on (*): ______. Name of consumer(s): ______. Address of consumer(s): ______. Date: ______. (*) Delete as appropriate.
8. Blocking and termination by us
We may block or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, in particular through abuse, manipulation of performance data, circumventing access limits, attacks on our systems or unlawful content, for example in display names. If we terminate without good cause, we refund paid, unused periods pro rata. The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
9. Permitted use, leaderboard and content
- You use Zombike only for private purposes and within these Terms. Not permitted are automation, scraping the service, manipulating performance or game results (for example by invented watt values), circumventing the trial with several accounts, and trying to rebuild or decrypt the server logic.
- Your display name is visible to others in the leaderboard. It must not infringe the rights of third parties and must not be offensive or unlawful. We may change names and remove implausible entries.
- Zombike, its design, graphics, sounds, program code, trademarks and content are protected by copyright and remain with us or our licensors. For the duration of your account you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use Zombike to the agreed extent.
10. Health and personal responsibility
Training at high intensity can carry health risks. You train at your own responsibility. If you have pre-existing conditions, complaints or are unsure, seek medical advice first. Stop training immediately in case of pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. The zones and targets shown in the game are guide values and not medical recommendations. You make sure your bike and trainer stand securely.
11. Availability and technology
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access (maintenance, disruptions at service providers, force majeure). For the Bluetooth connection you need a compatible browser (currently Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android) and a trainer that supports the FTMS standard. We cannot guarantee that every device works.
12. Liability
- We are liable without limit for intent and for damage to life, body and health that we caused through fault. For slight negligence we are liable towards consumers only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the typically foreseeable damage. Liability for consequential damage and lost profit is excluded for slight negligence, as far as legally permitted.
- Liability under the Product Liability Act and mandatory statutory rights, especially under the Consumer Protection Act, remain unaffected.
- Towards businesses, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
- We are not liable for content and offers of external providers that we link to.
13. Data protection
How we process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms for objectively justified reasons, for example for new features or a changed legal situation. We inform you at least 30 days before they take effect, by email or in the application. If you do not object within this period and keep using Zombike, the changes apply. We point out this consequence in the notice. You can cancel until they take effect.
15. Final provisions
- Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state of your habitual residence remain unaffected.
- The place of jurisdiction for businesses is Vienna. For consumers the statutory place of jurisdiction applies.
- If individual provisions are invalid, the rest remains valid. The statutory provision applies in place of the invalid one.
- For complaints you can reach us at hello@zombike.app. Consumers can also turn to a recognised consumer arbitration body, for example the Internet Ombudsman (ombudsstelle.at), or use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
